Joining The GEM International School is a straightforward process designed to be smooth and transparent for every family. We welcome applications for both our Primary and Secondary School programmes across our Owode-Yewa and Sango-Ota campuses.

Before applying, please ensure you have the required documents ready, including your child’s Birth Certificate, recent passport photographs, previous school results, and a testimonial. Our administrative team is always available to guide you through every step.

Steps to Apply

1. Purchase or Collect Admission Form

Obtain the admission form from the school's administrative office at either our Owode-Yewa or Sango-Ota campus, or download it directly from this website.

2. Complete the Application Form

Fill in the form accurately with your child's full name, age and date of birth, previous school attended, class applied for, and parent or guardian details.

3. Submit Required Documents

Return the completed form alongside the following: Birth Certificate, recent passport photographs, previous school results or academic transcripts, a testimonial, and a medical report where applicable.

4. Entrance Examination

Applicants will be invited to sit an entrance examination to assess academic readiness. You will be informed of the date and schedule in advance.

5. Oral Interview

Prospective students and their parents or guardians may be invited for an interview to evaluate the student's communication skills, behaviour, and overall preparedness.

6. Screening and Verification

All submitted documents and examination records are carefully reviewed to confirm the applicant's eligibility for admission.

7. Admission Offer

Successful candidates are notified through official admission letters, emails, text messages, or published admission lists.

8. Payment of School Fees

Parents or guardians are required to pay the prescribed school fees and other relevant charges within the stipulated period to secure the admission.

9. Registration and Documentation

Upon payment, the student is formally registered and provided with their Student Identification Number, school uniform, timetable, and handbook.

10. Resumption of Academic Activities

Admitted students are expected to resume on the official school reopening date and begin full participation in academic and co-curricular activities.
